Haunted History Tours
at the Whipple Company Store & Museum
are featured throughout the month of October.
Promoted as both “Historic and Haunted” and Listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, the 121 year old Coal Miners Company Store will unfold stories, legend and lore of
hard work, wealth, love,passion,social status, religious faith,fear and above all Control.
History reveals so much about who we are and haunting stories are important ways people relate to there community and in turn there own history.
Revel in the paranormal activity that seems to exist in the Haunted Ballroom, the Secret second floor, the Embalming room and the Safe.
Chuck and Joy Lynn, museum center educational coordinator and tour guides have gathered the haunted history and the stories through research and personal interview with local residents. This is shared with you on an evening tour that last about 2 ½ hours Thursday, Friday or Saturday 8:30-11:00 pm.
